Christians Fear Vampire Fans Will Get Lost to... →
It never fails to amuse me what the Evangelical set worries about. Instead of worrying about feeding hungry children, helping the poor, or anything like that; they worry instead about things like this. I’m glad they have their priorities straight.

Aswang
Origin The myth of the aswang is popular in the Western Visayan regions such as Capiz, Iloilo and Antique.Other entities were also said to roam on forests in provinces. Behaviour The trademark or major feature of Aswangs which distinguish them from other Filipino mythological creatures is their propensity to replace stolen cadavers with the trunk of a banana tree carved in the cadaver’s...

Bram Stoker's Dracula
Mina: I want to be what you are, see what you see, love what you love.
Dracula: Mina, to walk with me you must die to your breathing life and be reborn to mine.
Mina: You are my love... and my life, always.
Dracula: Then, I give you life eternal. Everlasting love. The power of the storm. And the beasts of the earth. Walk with me to be my loving wife, forever.

Elizabeth Bathory
Elizabeth Bathory, the Blood Countess, is one of the most famous of all historical vampires. She is perhaps less well-known only than the infamous Vlad Dracula, known also as Tepes (the Impaler) and he - although noted for his savage and very public methods of execution - was no vampire, but has merely been cited as the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s fictional Count Dracula. In fact, the...

Movie Recommendation: Lesbian Vampire Killers
Watched this one last night with the Baby Sister. It was a fun and cute watch, and surprisingly funny. Not to mention, I loved the vampires in this one. I will admit, this is a bit Shaun of the Dead. The two main stars in the film were very Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. But other than that, it was a good B movie. And, if you’re wondering about homophobia; the movie wasn’t the slightest...

Dracula Le Spectacle →
For those who might be in France, there is a new musical based on Dracula. I’m not quite sure what the plot is, since I can’t read French, but I think if you like Tanz Der Vampire, you’ll probably dig this.
